Meet Kimberly Cockerham, M.D., F.A.C.S

Kimberly Cockerham M.D., F.A.C.S.

To meet patient needs for the most advanced care available, Dr. Cockerham actively keeps current in plastics, orbit, and neuro-ophthalmology. A passionate educator as well as practitioner, she is the co-director of the annual Bay Area Ophthalmology course at Stanford, elected member of several prestigious medical societies, and teaches at annual national meetings throughout the country. Dr. Cockerham has published over 80 peer-reviewed abstracts, papers, chapters and a book.

Dr. Cockerham’s areas of interest include: eyelid and facial rejuvenation, thyroid eye disease, eyelid oncology, double vision and decreased vision due to optic nerve dysfunction.

Stephanie S. Chan, O.D. - Optometrist

Stephanie Chan DO

Dr. Stephanie S. Chan received her Doctor of Optometry degree from UC Berkeley School of Optometry after graduating from Stanford University with a degree in Biological Sciences. At UC Berkeley she was the recipient of a student research grant from the National Eye Institute for her work studying pediatric vision. Dr. Chan is an active member of the Santa Clara County Optometric Association and the California Optometric Association. She has a special interest in neuro-ophthalmology and binocular vision and a passion for eyecare in low income communities and in developing nations.

 

 

 

Aleshia - Laser and Surgery Coordinator

Aleshia Grayson

 

Aleshia has been with Dr. Cockerham since just after the launch of her private practice in 2007.
She is currently earning her R.N. degree and working part time in Los Altos and Capitola locations.
Aleshia is an expert in pre and post treatment counseling. She can answer your questions and alleviate
your concerns with calm and caring professional demeanor.

 

 

 

 

Dara - Medical assistant and IT coordinator

Dara San

 

Dara joined the practice in the summer of 2008 as a file clerk. She has blossomed into a terrific medical
assistant and is crossed train to do everything. Her expertise in ancillary testing and all matters IT are fantastic!

 

 

 

 

 

Aleks - Aesthetics Coordinator

 

Aleks has just joined Dr. Cockerham's practice after working for the last quarter of 2009 to help launch KCMD product line. He has the unusual combination of an undergraduate degree in business and an Esthetics license. Raised in a family with a Spa, Aleks has an incredible understanding of Skin Care and has worked for a decade helping aestheticians and doctors better organize, train and educate their staff and patients. Dr. Cockerham is thrilled to have Aleks working to coordinate KCMD, the coming estore (yourskinspace.com) and aesthetic services in all three locations.

 

 

 

Margo, Receptionist

Margo has just joined Dr. Cockerham's practice is adapting nicely to the hybrid medical and aesthetic practice. She spent over a decade as a receptionist for a dental office that was also a mix of reconstruction and cosmetic services. Margo looks forward to greeting you with a smile and kind words.
